Rockmount Golf Club The Rockmount dream began in the early 90’s when Robert and Diane Patterson decided to turn part of their farmland near Carryduff into an eighteen- hole championship standard golf course which would include a modern clubhouse with a top quality restaurant and bar facilities. The course officially opened on Monday 8th May 1995 when European Ryder Cup player Darren Clarke performed the opening ceremony, and since then the club has flourished, incorporating a restaurant where guests can enjoy delicious meals. The establishment’s restaurant menus offer classic dishes using fresh, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients as far as possible. Incorporating these great local produces at a reasonable price, the restaurant is a great choice for those looking to relax after a hard day’s golfing. A New Early Bird Menu is now available enjoy a main course and dessert for only £14.00 Wednesday - Saturday from 3pm and Sunday from 5pm. Alongside the restaurant, since inception Rockmount Enterprises Limited have continually added to and improved both the course and the clubhouse. On the course, more bunkers and water hazards together with hundreds of trees, some of which are mature, have been introduced to make the course a real test of golf. Overall, at Rockmount everyone is welcome and events such as weddings, christening, birthday parties and conferences are very popular.
