David explores how far the firm has come over the years to become the renowned lighting provider it is now. “Having been in the lighting design sector for over 30 years, here at David Brown Design we have a vast experience in designing lighting schemes that exceed our clients demanding expectations. We offer a wide range of services that start at a simple one to one consultation to a full CAD design and product procurement service. “Experimental offerings and unique solutions that push the boundaries are something we specialise in. Taking people’s breath away and offering a solution that is completely innovative and new has helped to get us noticed and win many prestigious contracts.” Pushing the boundaries often revolves around seeing what the latest market trends are and trying to go one step further. David shares an insight into the latest focuses within the lighting market. “In today’s market, integration, voice activation, energy efficiency are all sought-after solutions. In Scotland the market is far more cost conscious, as our region does not have the general wealth of the home counties or the population, so we have to work hard to achieve great results.
