Jamie Lloyd Pain Relief Clinic has become one of Surrey’s standout names for chronic pain treatment and TMJ rehabilitation—helping clients from Esher, across the UK and overseas fight their way back. Jamie Lloyd knows what it means to fight back from pain. A former London firefighter, British Kettlebell Champion and endurance cyclist, he has endured major back and jaw surgery, two shoulder operations, six dislocations and almost 30 years of Achilles tendinosis. Rather than allowing those experiences to define him, he used them to build one of Surrey’s most recognised specialist pain relief and TMJ clinics. Sport has always driven Jamie. He completed the London Marathon in 3:15:53 and won gold in the Clean and Jerk at the British Kettlebell Championships. Behind those achievements sits a formidable injury history: a broken clavicle, ruptured hamstring, torn knee ligaments, major dental surgery with two implants and a bone graft, and a recovery from back surgery that took more than two and a half years. Those setbacks changed the direction of his life. Firefighting taught him to stay calm under pressure; rehabilitation taught him patience, empathy and how isolating persistent pain can feel. Together, they inspired a new mission: to give people hope when they feel they have exhausted every option. Today, Jamie specialises in chronic pain, complex musculoskeletal conditions and TMJ dysfunction. Many clients reach his Esher clinic after spending thousands of pounds and seeing numerous therapists, physiotherapists, acupuncturists, chiropractors, osteopaths and consultants. Jamie calls himself the ‘last man standing’—the practitioner people turn to when they have been told to live with the pain or do not know where to go next. His approach is deliberately different. Every appointment lasts 90 minutes, allowing time for detailed assessment, personalised hands-on treatment, rehabilitation, movement strategies and education. Guided by a biopsychosocial understanding of pain and a holistic, fascia-focused approach, Jamie looks beyond the painful area to understand the person, their history and what the problem is stopping them from doing. This is life-changing pain relief—not a quick fix. Treatment may combine Advanced Clinical Massage, Advanced Myofascial Release, Advanced Dry Needling, Hot Stones, therapeutic ultrasound, electrotherapy, infrared cupping, rehabilitation and strength training. Jamie treats back pain, sciatica, frozen shoulder, repetitive strain injuries, tennis elbow, plantar heel pain, headaches, migraines and sports injuries, with practical self-care helping clients stay active between appointments. TMJ dysfunction is one of the clinic’s defining specialisms. Jamie supports people living with jaw pain, clicking, restricted movement, clenching, headaches and facial tension. His detailed TMJ assessment video has attracted more than 514,000 TikTok views, helping thousands recognise symptoms that are too often misunderstood. The results speak loudly. In 18 months, Jamie has won 16 national and international awards, delivered more than 2,000 clinical hours and increased turnover by 30%. The clinic has gained over 300 five-star Google reviews and attracts clients from across Surrey, the UK and overseas—proof that people are seeking a more thorough, personal and determined approach to pain rehabilitation. With 12 years’ experience, Jamie continues to invest in advanced training and is developing his Clinical Reset Method, uniting structured assessment, handson treatment, rehabilitation and education in one measurable system. His forthcoming book, The Jaw Connection, will challenge misconceptions surrounding TMJ dysfunction and its relationship with the wider body. That relentless drive is just as visible away from the clinic. In 2026, Jamie completed the 300km Dragon Devil, took on L’Étape du Tour and finished the Haute Route Alps— around 800 kilometres and 20,000 metres of climbing in seven days. Around 25% of starters did not finish. For someone who needed more than two years to recover from back surgery, that finish line meant far more than cycling. The two awards recognise far more than business success. They celebrate resilience transformed into purpose, personal experience turned into clinical understanding and a clinic prepared to keep searching when others have run out of answers. Jamie has fought his own way back from pain. Now he is helping others believe they can move forward too.
