Exploring just one of these in more detail, a recent project for Lantos in the field of delivery management was a digital and technology savings and efficiency project for the Central Digital and Data Office (CDDO) of the government. Carrying out this project in early 2023, the company delivered specialist project management, data analysis, and financial assurances to manage and deliver the savings project for the 21/22 financial year, which was needed to publish the Cabinet Office’s annual savings and efficiency report. The project necessitated an initial deep dive to review and evaluation of the digital and technology spending to have taken place over the course of the year so as to identify suitable spending cases with acknowledged types of savings and efficiency benefits. This required the team to work with the CDDO Performance and Assurance Senior DDaT advisors to review, scrutinise, and evaluate a range of spending cases, before passing them to the GIAA for an independent and external audit to verify the savings and the figures. This project is a fantastic example of the collaborative, joined-up approach that Lantos prides itself on when it comes to working with clients – including their organisational teams, stakeholders, and variety of third-party suppliers. Essentially, its ability to do this is seen through the company selecting and providing only the most highly experienced consultants for its clients’ projects, ensuring both their needs and priorities are met. In addition to its delivery management services, Lantos also offers strategy and change consultancy, which makes sure any transformation or transition IT strategic directions align seamlessly with a business and underpin its policies, priorities, and needs.
