Specialising in the likes of industrial, energy, and agricultural settings, Mondrelog has a long and successful track record of improving the operational efficiency of partner businesses and driving their growth through its automated solutions. Just some of the recent projects undertaken by the business include designing and custom building a conveyor system for a recycling plant, executing a PLC control system for a power station, and optimising a preexisting pallet system for a food processing company, highlighting a diverse client base. Operating under the philosophy that anything can be improved, Mondrelog’s expertise spans everything from engineering and automated systems through to robotics, with its holistic engineering services purposely designed to help maintain, upgrade, or further optimise a client’s mechanical systems in as hassle free a manner as possible. Delivering an end-to-end service across all phases of a project, this impeccable service will continue until a client is 100% satisfied, as only then do the team here consider themselves to be done. Working with clients from all over the world that possess a desire for reduced expenses and enhanced productivity, Mondrelog’s control systems are highly dependable and cost effective. The tailorable nature of these systems is another distinguishing factor, with Mondrelog’s team of passionate pioneers driven to find solutions that work, whatever the requirements may be. Years of combined experience help this team in achieving their mission, with dedicated management on hand to ensure a streamlined operation. One such defining figure in this area is Co-Founder/Co-Managing Director Algis Litvinas. A highly experienced automation engineer with a progressive approach to his field, Algis co-founded Mondrelog in 2021, with the company recently celebrating its third birthday. Prior to establishing the business, Algis worked in and around Newark in a variety of engineering-based jobs, spending seven years honing his craft before taking a leap that has more than paid off over the past three years. Commenting on his journey thus far, Algis explains, “as time passed in my previous job, I faced increasingly complex tasks after wanting to test myself in even larger project implementations. I saw a different picture for the running of the company, but the head wanted to avoid engaging in more complicated projects. So, I set myself the goal of starting my own company. I founded Mondrelog to implement projects in my way, with my partner later joining and helping the business to grow and expand in this industry.” Although he is unquestionably a dedicated, devoted, and actionable leader at work, Algis stresses that before any of that, he is a loving husband and father to three children. Then come his managing director commitments, which include an approach he describes as being centred around, “encouraging employees to leave their comfort zones.” He continues, “we set goals, talk openly, and motivate them.” Algis also prioritises creating a great atmosphere where staff feel comfortable, outlining the importance of “the process” that has to be allowed to its run its course when it comes to a team working together on a big project. Furthering Mondrelog’s success when it comes to these big projects is its robust recruitment procedure, which revolves around the company having meticulously defined the sort of employee that it needs ahead of them starting, making the process of integrating them into the company all the more efficient. Algis states, “during an early session, we encourage employees to define where they want to be after two or three years. Later, we organise control meetings in which we check how well we are achieving these goals we set.” The newfound freedom that Algis achieved by managing his own company is a responsibility he is keen to extend to his employees, so that they do not feel stifled in their positions as he did previously. Explaining this thought process further, Algis tells us, “it is up to the employee to decide how the work can be done best.” Whilst this does lend itself to a higher rate of failure in the beginning, for Algis, “employees need to be allowed to learn from their mistakes so that those lessons can yield good results later.” This undercurrent of independence and empowerment that runs throughout Mondrelog has allowed it to set its sights on big things for the future, with its primary goals for the next decade or so focusing primarily on expansion and a further streamlining of its operation. Then there are the exciting plans for the company to develop its services, offering new solutions to clients with help from the partnerships it is seeking to strike with other organisations working within this space. Mondrelog is also acutely aware of the importance of keeping its services peppered with the latest technologies, making sure that all “With the transfer of freedom and responsibility, employees grow, and the manager need show only a little more patience.”
