SME News Managing Director of the Year 2025 / 16 Washroom Technology MD of the Year 2025: Natalie McGreavy More than three decades of experience designing and manufacturing intelligent water control systems for both the commercial and public sectors has positioned Paignton and Chesterfield-based company KWC DVS Ltd as a pioneer in this environment. From sensor taps and flush valves to shower systems and washroom controls, all of the products KWC DVS provides revolve around the values of efficiency, durability, and hygiene. We caught up with award-winning MD Natalie McGreavy, who has been with the company now for almost 20 years, to find out more. KWC DVS serves clients ranging from healthcare and education facilities through to leisure venues, shops, and transport hubs, affording its sustainable washroom solutions and intelligent water management capabilities wherever they are required across the UK. Aside from simply providing top-of-the-line kit such as touch-free taps, automatic flush valves, and stainless steel sanitaryware, the team behind the operation also offer full technical support and tailored advice, underpinning a client-first commitment. Regardless of the environment they are working in, the team here are driven by a pledge to deliver sustainable innovation in the wider field of water management systems and a thirst for solving the problems people in their focus areas face every day. Through a set of core values encompassing the likes of integrity, reliability, and partnership, this sees KWC DVS go beyond the provision of washroom accessories to support clients in initiatives including saving water, reducing energy use, and improving overall safety. At the helm of many of the strategic decisions the company makes is Natalie McGreavy, whose tenure with KWC DVS dates back more than 17 years. Beginning as an office junior, Natalie has taken on many roles over the course of her time here, including an 18-month stint as the brand’s business and HR manager. This same period also saw Natalie complete a CIPD Level 5 Certificate in HR management, adding to her ever-evolving skill set and paving the way to her becoming the managing director in January 2023. “Over the years, I’ve worked my way up through the business – learning, growing, and contributing wherever I could – until I was appointed managing director. My journey has taught me the value of hard work, resilience, and never underestimating the power of saying yes to opportunity.” Natalie’s responsibilities across her role are varied and many, and she leads at every turn with empathy, purpose, accessibility, and openness, balancing strategic decision making with a deep understanding of what it takes to promote success across the company on a daily basis. Natalie explained: “Whether it’s adapting to shifting market demands or overcoming supply chain obstacles, I see problems as stepping stones to innovation. I encourage my team to think creatively, take calculated risks, and embrace change.” The culture that arises as a result is another distinguishing factor of KWC DVS, which prioritises close communication across departments and sees its people work together to contribute towards what is a transformative bigger picture. Moreover, the dual-location setup the company employs – its manufacturing is in based in Paignton, Devon, whilst its sales and marketing is done primarily out of its Chesterfield office – sees it positioned both favourably and strategically to grow and better serve its clients. With KWC DVS continuing down this path as we move through the rest of 2025 and beyond, the brand is looking for proactive, team players who can support it in realising aims such as investing in product innovation – especially when it comes to integrating smart systems and water-saving technologies – and bolster its expansion efforts into new sectors. These activities will see the company cement its industry-leading status. Finally, concerning Natalie herself, her next steps are geared towards supporting more women entering senior roles in both the manufacturing and engineering landscapes, all whilst providing development and progression opportunities for every member of her team at KWC DVS and taking the business to lofty new heights. A beacon of excellence in the complex setting of intelligent water management and washroom technology, KWC DVS has found success not only because of its sustainable and forward-looking solutions, but also as a result of the people behind the business. Natalie shared in closing: “Our team are at the heart of everything we achieve. I’m incredibly proud of how far we’ve come and excited about where we’re heading next.” More information about KWC DVS Ltd and its full range of washroom solutions and accessories can be found using the link below.
