Midlands Enterprise Awards 2021
20 | Midlands Enterprise Awards 2021 in the future. After being forced to evolve in this way, it has worked on other ways that it could expand for the future. David explains, “Just before the pandemic hit, we were migrating from producing flat visuals for websites and apps to experimenting with prototyping tools that our clients could interact with and navigate. The pandemic accelerated this process and now all digital projects from initial wireframing through to supplying final designs for web development are produced natively through Adobe XD. The shift to online communications, be it for team meetings or virtual events, has also meant adapting how we can support our clients”. Consequently, DWH has been developing video and motion graphics for its clients throughout the pandemic and this is also becoming normality. The rapid development of these tools has meant that it could reach its normal number of clients and then even more. David says, “We offer everything from editing podcasts to animating app tutorials and 3D product demonstrations, which are ideal for social posts or events. We’re seeing a growing trend towards video, motion graphics, and animation, and we can see these services playing a major role in our clients’ communications moving forward in the post- pandemic era”. Over the next 12 months, there are plans for them to continue growing their customer base, projects, and team. The future looks very promising for DWH. A lot of this has been in response to projects and one-off briefs, but the lockdowns in 2020 and 2021 forced us to adapt and focus on how we could evolve the business to thrive in the new post- pandemic world”.
