Ensuring complete customer satisfaction since 2014 the company has increased its reach nationwide and has undertaken work in Europe too. Tiling is one of the oldest industries, it has thrived for over 7,000 years using the same core principles. With that said it seems hard to believe that the industry would be subject to many technological advances. But over the last 10 years, the tiling industry has seen dramatic changes. Professional tiler, Stephen Wagstaff, is the founder of the company which was incorporated in November 2014. Stephen, who’s been in the tiling industry for over 20 years, tells us, “We specialise in bespoke large-format installation and high-end projects. We never forget our roots though. We still take on smaller tiling jobs, and we take just as much pride in finishing them to a high standard as we do with our larger projects.” The company serves domestic customers of all sizes. From standard kitchen and bathroom tiling to feature walls, grand marble effect staircases and mosaic flooring in large executive houses, there’s nothing the team won’t tackle. Pro-Tilers also works with commercial customers. Among its clients are schools, hospitals, hotels, gyms, restaurants and local government. Stephen attributes much of Pro-Tilers success to close working relationships, “It’s important to have good relationships with clients and contractors. Pro-Tilers works closely with both to provide high- quality products and services. As the company’s reputation grew, so too did its reach and it wasn’t long before Pro-Tilers was working across the whole North West region. Stephen sees Pro-Tilers North-Western base as an advantage for the business, “We’re pretty central to the whole UK market, we can travel anywhere. This makes tendering for projects much easier.” The company has 4 permanent employees including a first-year apprentice. They also work with 12 sub-contractors with whom they maintain regular contact to ensure jobs run smoothly. Although Pro-Tilers has been through a challenging year, the company is proud to report that it has kept all its staff employed and its contractors supplied with work.
