Following its well-deserved success in the UK Enterprise Awards 2020, we caught up with Inga Kopala to find out more. Situated in London, Amberth help clients decide on a scheme they love and with its dedicated team of designers, fitters and project managers on hand, the firm ensure each project is installed with precision. To start, Inga provides a brief overview of the firm and offers more insight into some of its core values. “Providing a full design, supply and installation service, we specialise in offering bespoke products and a professional client service, there are no kitchens or bathrooms quite like it. As strong believers in wellbeing, all our designs focus on the individual needs and requirements of the client. For long-term use we concentrate on functionality and sustainability, and with many of our projects still appearing brand new despite being completed many years ago, this is just a further indication of the quality of our work.” Across the city of London Amberth are in direct competition with several other interior designers, however, its approach to project management and overall client approach has allowed the firm to distance itself from the crowd. “As a fully independent company we hold our clients’ interests at heart” Inga highlights. “This is emphasised by the fact we take great pride and pleasure in developing unique designs and take full responsibility for each project. Rather than accepting excuses and a blame culture, we identify candidates who are prepared to take ownership and do not mind responsibility.” Despite the outbreak of COVID-19, the firm has still managed to prosper during the pandemic thanks to its virtual communications, which Inga is keen to point out. “From day one we switched to online consultation meetings, and although this isn’t quite the same as face-to-face communication, this has at least allowed us to stay in touch with our clients on a regular basis.” Finally, Inga signs off by revealing the main benefits of the firm’s location before outlining some of its plans for 2021 and beyond. “Working in such a multicultural country like the UK gives us an opportunity to open our minds and look at the interiors from so many different angles. In addition, by working alongside some of the best designers in the world, we are truly learning from the best. During lockdown we reviewed our processes and improved them to allow us to be even more professional.
