Q2 2026

Growing talent together, the OPRA Group provides a full range of people solutions designed to help individuals and organisations make confident decisions regarding their futures. Its services cover the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring clients have the right support whenever they need it. On the back of its recognition here as the Best Integrated Recruitment & HR Solutions Provider 2026, we sat down with Sharon Bulter-Felby for more on OPRA Group’s success. Find Your Talent. Find Your Solution. Find Your Future. More than a traditional recruitment agency, OPRA Group goes a step further by providing comprehensive people solutions services for candidates and businesses, delivering expert support and guidance across a variety of critical functions. These include preemployment screening checks and a variety of HR-related tasks, such as employee wellbeing. Success across all of these pivotal areas is achieved through meaningful partnerships and a values-led approach rooted in integrity, innovation, inclusion, and collaboration. Despite covering a variety of roles and apprenticeships across hundreds of industries all over the world, OPRA Group has three main ‘umbrella’ sectors that it focuses on: healthcare, financial services, and facilities/ infrastructure. Organisations across these environments that recognise their people as their greatest asset are those that stand the best chance of thriving long term, as success can only happen when talented individuals are put in roles where they can excel, and are supported by a strong internal culture. “Look after your people, and they will look after your business.” – Adele Carnea, Director By investing in key areas such as effective resource management, skills development, and employee wellbeing, businesses create environments where their people feel empowered to perform at their best and can contribute meaningfully to their organisation’s goals. OPRA Group can offer its support across all of these vital avenues, but businesses are just one half of the story, and the company places an equal emphasis on candidates across its services, as seen through its recent event. Sharon explained: “We recently hosted a Spring Into Your New Job candidate event. The event was designed to provide practical, well-rounded support to individuals navigating career change, people facing redundancy, or those with a desire to explore new opportunities or a change in direction.” Experts across recruitment, HR, personal branding, finance, technology, and more were all brought together, resulting in a collaborative space where attendees could gain real advice and move ahead confidently. The benefits of delivering this kind of event is clear, with candidates getting the clarity, reassurance, and tools they need to switch careers, and businesses being given a platform to enhance their brand and reinforce a genuine commitment to their people during transitional periods. Feedback has been extremely positive across the board, even inspiring OPRA Group to go a step further by delivering a series of progressive events where candidates are taken on individual journeys, with a view to them ending up in a job. As this shows, OPRA Group is continuing to reinforce the importance of deep, meaningful relationships with candidates and businesses, something that is becoming increasingly threatened as the conversation shifts to AI adoption. Sharon told us: “We do not focus on AI as we insist on ensuring our candidate and business journeys have human touch points. While technology can certainly enhance efficiency and streamline processes, we believe that recruitment is ultimately about people, relationships, and trust.” This is something that starts at the top with OPRA Group’s director, Adele Carnea, who started the business on the back of her more than 30 years of experience across recruitment and HR. Inquisitive and passionate about people, Adele’s work goes beyond the company and has seen her serve as an Apprentice Ambassador for more than a decade and also chair the Essex Apprentice Ambassador Network, allowing her to volunteer with apprentices of all ages and business of all sizes. Under Adele’s leadership, the focus for OPRA Group moving forwards is doubling down on what makes it different, allowing it to further improve the overall experience it provides. Enhancing efficiency and insight are top priorities, but the peoplefirst approach it has built its brand around will remain. Thus, ‘innovation’ for the team here is not about faceless tech or boosting its own numbers, it is about listening and adapting in a way that keeps it relevant, responsive, and always delivering value to those it serves.
