32 | Q4 2020 Jul20386 Burning Bright Renowned creative agency, This is Fever, has gone from strength-to-strength recently, despite the turbulent climate. Ben Green, Studio Director, tells us more about what makes the company so successful. This is Fever is an established digital creative agency based in Colchester, Essex, offering branding, design and development services to SMEs and large corporations across East Anglia and nationally. Delivering a broad range of creative solutions for both print and digital media, alongside process workshops that encourage closer relationships and ensure projects run smoothly, clients can find a full-service creative agency experience, with an emphasis on strategic thinking, pragmatic processes and after-care support on every project. Led by Studio Director, Ben Green, the astute team of creative thinkers and practical problem solvers adhere to the agency’s core values, which have changed over the years, with each iteration focusing more and more on the services offered. “Most recently we created ‘The Book of Flames’, which is an all-in-one guide to This is Fever for staff and clients,” Ben tells us, and he continues to explain the four brand pillars that currently define the company, these being: people-centricity (loyalty, empathy, inclusivity); collaboration (to be clear, open and trustworthy); progressiveness (strategic, design-driven, disciplined); and expertness (being memorable and authentic to the highest of qualities). Working in such a competitive industry it is of paramount importance that This is Fever differentiates itself to really ensure it stands out and continues to win business. Ben believes that what really sets the firm aside is its extremely high quality of work, which has not only won awards but is also the reason that it has a very high referral rate. “We have incredible attention to detail and ensure our clients are involved in the entire process,” he explains. “We continue to grow by offering new and exciting services to existing and new clients.” Since being established, This is Fever has grown both in staff numbers and in expertise. In the last two years it has increased its services to include app development, integrations, systems and platforms. Like many businesses it has, of course, encountered challenges and obstacles, most notably in 2019 when the business experienced two office break-ins during a spate of attacks in the area. By any means, this could have ended the business, but it stood strong. As with all businesses, COVID-19 has most certainly had an undeniable impact on all industries. Some industries have been negatively affected, however, others have thrived. This is Fever is one such case as it has experienced an increase in enquiries coming from the ‘industry’ related sectors, such as agriculture, and also companies who trade online (ecommerce). There has also been an increase in enquiries regarding innovative solutions for the events industry. Above all, Ben attributes the agency’s success to the stellar team and enthuses that the internal culture at This is Fever is incredible. “Every member of staff is here because they want to be and love what they do. They are passionate people with wonderful attitudes. “We ensure our staff are best equipped by giving them the help and support they need when they need it. In addition to this, we also offer competitive salaries, additional holidays, monthly rewards and team outings to ensure our staff feel valued. “We are less bothered about physical qualifications and look more for hands-on experience, mixed with passion and willingness to learn and grow. Our ability to look past a CV has earned us a reputation locally as being one of the best agencies to work for.” Although the future remains uncertain for many during these times, This is Fever has bold plans in 2021 to push its knowledge even further and create even more innovative products. One project Ben and the team are particularly excited about is the creation of a unique event system. Although unable to give specific details at this time due to being in the very early stages of its development, Ben is hopeful that this new product will allow the agency to help the events industry to thrive once more. “Having worked with the events industry before, with clients such as Mercury Theatre and Hart Wilcox, we realise the impact that COVID-19 has had on them and want to create something that will not only help them in the short term but as a long term solution as well.” Contact: Ben Green Company: This is Fever Web Address: www.thisisfever.co.uk “Every member of staff is here because they want to be and love what they do.
