For almost two decades, the restaurant has grown and evolved with the addition of three takeaway locations, effectively cementing itself as a staple-piece of the Glaswegian cuisine scene. Each dish served by I-Chai has been meticulously crafted to capture the captivating essence of its cuisine, elevated by I-Chai’s masterful combination of aromatic spices and fresh, seasonal ingredients. I-Chai offers an assortment of delectable dim sum dishes, including Har Gow and Shanghai Xiao Long Bao, as well as a mixture of traditional and unique dishes demonstrating the restaurant’s broad range of capabilities. Such meals include Japanese Katsu Curry, Strawberry Duck, Soft Shell Crab, and Malaysianstyle Roti Canai. The meals vary in spice levels and can be accompanied by a multitude of side dishes, such as Steamed Jasmine Rice, Stir-fried Pak Choy, Singapore Chow Mein, and Japanese Udon Noodles. In addition to its diverse main menu, I-Chai also offers guests a ‘Simple Set’ dinner menu, lunch menu, weekend brunch, unlimited tapas, and even a festive menu through the winter months.
