Teresa explains the firm’s mission and how it works to provide its clients with the very highest standards of care and service. “At the Osteopaths, our mission is to achieve excellence in patient centred healthcare that is built on a collaborative, integrative, evidence informed approach to health and wellbeing and offers bespoke solutions for all those seeking treatment. As such, we work to ensure that our administrative and practitioner teams collaborate throughout each patients’ time with us. Our practitioners undertake professional development courses and attend practice meetings, where we discuss current best practice in osteopathy and manual therapy and share our knowledge and skills.” Each clinic that is part of the Osteopaths works to provide excellence for its clients and has a local focus so that it can provide clients with the support they need, as Teresa highlights. “Having clinics in different locations and our range of appointment times offers choice to people not able to attend during normal office hours. We work closely with partners such as local gyms, giving talks to some of the personal trainers about osteopathy and the treatment and management of injuries and referring patients with specific training needs.” Looking ahead, there are exciting times on the horizon for the Osteopaths as the firm seeks to grow and enhance its service offering, as Teresa concludes. “Going forward, we will continue to look to develop our services and are planning on expanding our clinics with additional practitioners and therapies, based on patient need. Our online presence and flexibility of service has always been fairly strong, but time and technology continue to offer new opportunities to develop. We are hoping to fully digitise our patient management and records system and develop online retail services to further support our patients.” The Osteopaths was established in 2007 as a small healthcare clinic providing osteopathic treatment for patients suffering with a wide range of musculoskeletal complaints.
