Our Education Centre offers a wide range of CPD accredited residential courses, talks and workshops which are open to all. In order to ensure that we are in a position to provide support, assistance and funding for primates in need, our Education Centre also plays host to a wide range of corporate events and weddings via our trading subsidiary Hethfelton House Ltd. This offers not only a much needed additional source of income, but also the opportunity to meet and talk to a wide range of visitors to the centre who are often completely unaware of the abuse and suffering these incredible, endangered and vulnerable primates are forced to endure. None of what we do would be possible without the kindness and dedication of our supporters, whether its participating in a wide range of events and fundraising schemes or simply by raising awareness of our work, we are incredibly grateful for the support that we receive. Funding from corporate events Please help us to help them. Rescue Centre in Borneo receives specialist assistance, funding, and training to assist them with their orangutan release program. We cannot do it without your support. Madagascar’s Lemurs are in trouble so we sent an experienced Primate Carer to assist and train the local staff. Charlie is now safe and free from harm. Naree is now safe with a family of her own kind. Legal to keep in the UK however they often suffer as a result of poor diet and incorrect housing. RESCUED RESCUED RESCUED FUNDING APPROVED FUNDING APPROVED The Jim Cronin Memorial Fund for Primate Welfare & Conservation As a result of the pandemic, we have all now experienced just a tiny bit of what a smuggled primate must go through; stolen from the wild as an infant, scared, alone and unable to see or be with their families. Beaten, abused and drugged, into submission, for use in the entertainment industry. Like us, primates are social creatures and have an inherent need to be with others of their own kind and, also like us, they are deserving of a life free from harm.
