Over the years the mother/son duo have established a reputation for providing an exceptional service time and time again. Since 2005, they have been running a private hire car firm in Dorset. They, along with Andrew (Kevan’s father) and ably assisted by Jenny, Lesley’s sister, initially ran Drive4U Business and Airport Travel. Kevan got an offer he couldn’t refuse so he sold it in 2016. Two years later, Kevan and Lesley - as Andrew had sadly passed away in December 2017- set up K Watson Cars, a private hire executive car service. Together, they have over 30 years’ experience in the industry, and have nurtured a strong business ethos of providing a professional, personal and reliable service. Ultimately, the company specialises in airport transfers, cruise transfers as well as business and leisure travel, with the ability to travel to and from any destination on the UK mainland. One of their most popular offerings remains their wedding car service packages, based entirely around a client’s budget and needs. If those packages are not quite to a client’s liking, Lesley is more than happy to put together a bespoke package. Above all else, K Watson Cars aim to be flexible and in tune with the needs of their clients, playing their role in making the wedding a simply perfect day. When travelling with K Watson Cars, clients can rest assured that they are in safe hands. All of the company’s chauffeurs are DBS checked – as standard - and the company are members of the Licensed Private Car Hire Association. In addition to this, Kevan was one of the first drivers to undertake the BTEC in Transporting Passengers by Taxi and Private Hire qualification, and Lesley was one of the first administrators in the area to do so. He has also recently completed a ‘Prevent Covid-19’ course, and all the company’s vehicles offer complimentary hand sanitisers, face masks and shielding screens between passengers and chauffeurs. In addition, all of the cars are sprayed down and cleaned between bookings. Even during this tough time, K Watson Cars ensures that it puts the safety of its passengers at the forefront.
