UK Enterprise 2020
77 | UK Enterprise Awards 2020 It would be fair to say that the greater healthcare industry has been thrust into the spotlight over the last few months. While its importance has never truly been in doubt, its contributions to day to day life have been put into stunning relief. Yet, there remains – as in all industries - that ever-present need to be greater, to improve and be better than the day before. That’s where Matt Williams at 3CP Training comes in. Here, we spoke to Matt to find out more about his work, ethos and commitment to excellence. Health & Social Care Consultancy of the Year 2020 - South West England 3CP Training specialise in providing consultancy and training to clients predominately within the health and social care industries in the southwest. We also offer courses to other industries in other parts of the UK. We have clients from various sectors within the healthcare industry, ranging from learning disability, dementia, complex care and settings from residential through domiciliary care and into nursing. 3CP has over 20 years of experience in these sectors working with both small and large businesses throughout the UK. The core principles of the company are written into the name; those words begin with three C’s and a P. These are Caring, Competent, Competitive and Proactive. 3CP are caring because we aim to do the best we can for our clients. We are competent due to the training and services we offer are performed to the highest standard. We are competitive in that we try and give our clients savings where possible. Finally, we are proactive because all of the training offered leads towards positive outcomes. The training offered is also prevention focused. We also provide our client’s certification on the same day of the training, so there is no waiting time for certificates to be added to their records. One of the unique things about 3CP is that we can teach our material from any perspective, including that of the residents. In the last year and a half, we have rewritten our course material in order to deliver them to the residents and these proved to be very successful. We have received great reviews from clients who have purchased them. 3CP also undertake consultancy works, where we say that no job is too much. The company is able to take on some very difficult challenges whilst at the same time, able to maintain our fair and competitive prices. The company has now been officially named as an NHS partner, a fact that is massively important in the continued success of the business. The Covid-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on the care industry as a whole, and as a result, 3CP have had to adapt some of their tested methods. They have made their workbooks downloadable, and as a result have saved money on printing costs. This saving in costs has meant that we have been able to offer a further discount to clients. We have also offered an online live video service. This has meant that any questions that clients have can be answered immediately. In addition to this, they have developed a Covid-19 specific training programme, Practical Basic Life Support Courses. This will help to ease the worries and cost of their clients. The UK has some of the best standards of care in the world, and this is especially true of end of life care. This means that everyone working in this field benefit from high quality training, training that companies like 3CP are excellent at providing. Things have changed for 3CP on a regional level too. In the past several years, all NHS domiciliary agencies have begun to work closer together and share resources. This has been of great benefit to companies and clients alike, as there is a now a higher standard of practice in place. This has meant a greater level of care and quality of life throughout the region. With the uncertainty around Covid-19 not going away any time soon, 3CP are in a good place to be able to carry on their success with the measures that they have already put into place. With training now being socially distant, as well as specific courses being created, this will relieve some of Jun20237 the tension that their client’s must be feeling during this time. The end goal will always be ensuring receivers of care continue to receive the best quality of care possible. 3CP do a fantastic job of ensuring this and are fully deserving of being named Health & Social Care Consultancy of the Year 2020 - South West Company: 3CP Training Contact: Matt Williams Website: www.3cptraining.com
