140 | UK Enterprise Awards 2021 Apr21418 Best Holistic Family & Financial Support Service - Yorkshire & Humber Established in 2017, Tomorrow’s H.O.P.E exists to provide a specialist support, information & advice service for families & Individuals by providing a bespoke holistic approach, whilst remaining independent, impartial, non- judgmental and unbiased at all times. Tomorrow’s H.O.P.E has one core aim which is to Help Others Positively Evolve. Following its recent success in the UK Enterprise Awards 2021, we got in touch with Founder Lee van den Born to discover more about how they consistently provide a holistic service. Since its beginnings in a small home office, Tomorrow’s H.O.P.E (Helping Others Positively Evolve) has come a long way to help those who have suffered life changing injuries, and long-term health problems. After noticing gaps in community-based services, Lee set out to make a difference by launching his own business. “After speaking with solicitors and case managers, I began to offer family support and financial capability sessions, financial health checks, benefits advice and information, health checks and social prescribing but most importantly I started to fill in some of the gaps between the community-based services I also started specialist casework such as benefit appeals & benefit tribunals. Fully incorporating the holistic approach, for the benefit of the service user, the service is open for all and is located in Kingston Upon Hull, but not restricted to this area, upon request we can provide our services to anyone across the United Kingdom. Tomorrow’s H.O.P.E has one main aim which is to Help Others Positively Evolve”. In such a short space of time the firm has been able to achieve great things. Moreover, as Lee goes on to explain, much of its success can be attributed to a client-focused approach. “At Tomorrow’s H.O.P.E, we offer everything under one roof. Providing a full holistic wrap around service to support both individuals and families, everything we do is done with the client or family in mind. Unlike many other services, we work with the individual or family in their own home, we always believe the individual or family should feel comfortable from start to finish, and that unlike other companies or services we never put a time frame on how long we work with the individual or family, we are in contact with them for however long we are needed. Additionally, to ensure a solid relationship is built the client has the same key worker throughout”. With more and more people recently being impacted by the ever-changing benefits system, the firm is keen to play their part in helping people wherever possible, as Lee explains further. “There seems to be a rapid climb in people being refused the benefits they desperately need and are eligible for. Naturally then, to help address this problem, we are attending more tribunal cases and winning along with campaigning for disability rights and the correct support for those who are correctly entitled to benefits but that are left between the cracks of the benefits system”. Finally, Lee discusses the firm’s future prospects as we look ahead to the remainder of 2021 and beyond. “Moving forward, our focus will continue to evolve around supporting families to help reduce stress and isolation whilst increasing their confidence. Here at Tomorrow’s H.O.P.E, empowering each individual or family member towards a positive future is our number one priority!”. Company: Tomorrow’s H.O.P.E Contact: Lee van den Born Email:
