We speak to Founder, Artisa Bitsi, about what the future has in store. Artisa Spa is a leading massage and beauty treatments provider in East London with the aim of nurturing and relaxing each of its guests with individualised and innovative therapeutic techniques. The salon’s namesake, Artisa Bitsi, is the founder and sole director of Artisa Spa. She launched the brand back in 2017 after a decision to kick it up a notch from being a home-based therapist. After working for seven years around the world as a Level 4 Advanced Massage and Sports Massage therapist, and experiencing first-hand the need to bridge the gap between holistic and western medicine, Artisa now provides a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which to heal. Besides running the business, Artisa continues to develop her deep interest in anatomy and physiology by expanding her massage therapist knowledge and training, promoting the importance of regular exercise and bodywork. “Artisa Spa is a space in which all Londoners can escape their busy lives and seek relaxation or rehabilitation,” she explains. “We only use the highest quality products with all our treatments, because our clients deserve only the best!” Artisa Spa is managed by an experienced team of health professionals which consists of physiotherapists, specialised massage therapists, and beauty therapists. All therapists are available to advise on treatments and customised treatment plans to help with stress relief, pain relief, rehabilitation, sports injury, maintain peak performance and to enhance general wellbeing. “All our therapists are highly qualified and passionate individuals,” states Artisa. “Our goal is for massage therapy to be incorporated into everyone’s life on a regular basis, as it is our passion to promote a healthy living and lifestyle in addition to helping clients with stress and pain management by reducing the need for prescription medications.” Unfortunately, like many other businesses, Artisa Spa experienced a large revenue loss due to the Covid-19 restrictions which were implemented during 2020 and 2021.
