268 | UK Enterprise Awards 2021 Beauty Salon of the Year 2021 – Luton & Distinction Award for Customer Service Excellence With a passion for make-up and expressing herself, Farzana Choudhury always dreamed of opening up her own beauty salon. We talk to her about realising her dream in the wake of her salon winning the prestigious accolades of Beauty Salon of the Year 2021 – Luton, and Distinction Award for Customer Service Excellence 2021. Based in Luton, Farzana’s Beauty was established in 2019 by Farzana Choudhury, having spent several years developing her experience within the industry as a beauty therapist. Farzana’s passion for beauty came at an early age when she discovered the world of make-up. “I found I could express different parts of my personality with various make-up techniques and a rainbow of eye shadows,” she elaborates. “My interest in beauty, and the beauty industry, grew from there and I have never looked back. Helping others to feel fresh, fierce and fearless in their own skin, is what has driven me ever since.” Farzana spent many years working in five-star spas, such as Luton Hoo, Aqua Sana Centre Parcs and Sopwell House, gaining a wealth of industry knowledge and experience, before she decided to set up on her own. “Knowing my dream was to open my own beauty salon, I completed a spa management degree and took the plunge!” she explains. “I wanted the salon to be something different, to offer a creative new approach, and that’s exactly what we did.” Farzana Beauty offers everything that its clientele is looking for from a premium beauty salon, including massages, facials and nail treatments, eyelash and eyebrow shapes and tints, waxing and threading, manicures, pedicures, and a range of Asian bridal treatments, including make-up and hairstyling. However, Farzana also provides some more unique procedures such as IPL laser hair removal, cryolipolysis (fat freezing) and skin rejuvenation treatments. “We are here to help all those that want to give themselves a bit of well-earned ‘me-time’, whether you decide on a facial, a new make-up look, a relaxing massage, a mani-pedi, all of the above or another of our soothing treatments. We have the perfect one for you, no matter what the budget may be.” The salon has gone on to become award- winning, proving that its customers are in great hands every time they visit.
