We speak to founder and craftsman, Simon Johnson, about how his company has gone from strength to strength. Following 17 years in the Armed Forces, and a further 14 years in the joinery industry, Simon Johnson longed to become ‘master of his own ship.’ His dream was realised in 2012 when he set up his own company, Three Rooms Bespoke Joinery Ltd, and he has enjoyed incredible success ever since. “My interest in woodwork dates back to when I was a young boy - I always enjoyed doing things with my hands,” enthuses Simon. “When I left the Army at 17, it was no surprise to my family that I became an apprentice joiner.” Simon started off on his business venture with very definite ideas about what he wanted to offer his customers, and the two key principles that the company was founded on remain to this day. Firstly, he and the team are committed to doing a great job for the people who use his services.
