COVID-19 saw many changes for BMc’s clients. Some, such as those in the fashion industry, were no longer able to trade from their stores, whereas others, such as grocery stores, found themselves busier than usual. Either way, they all needed help to transition to a new way of working. BMc’s operational teams worked with businesses seeing more footfall to look after tills, digital displays and payment devices. They were also called upon to assist with the implementation of safe distancing, hygiene solutions and the manufacturing of 3D-printed face mask straps. The company’s sales, account management and marketing teams spent time helping fashion clients to put in place e-commerce solutions. Services such as “fulfil from store” that allow sourcing and shipping of items from a store holding the stock to a customer collection point proved vital.
