UK Enterprise Awards 2024

SME UK Enterprise Awards 2024/ 76 Best Modular Temporary Walling System 2024 - Europe When it comes to bringing innovative and cost-effective solutions to retail display and merchandising problems on the shop floor, there is one agency that stands head and shoulders above the rest. Brand Retail, based in Milton Keynes, excels in finding creative answers to a whole host of branding problems. We find out more from Tony Walton as the company celebrates a win in the UK Enterprise Awards 2024. Brand Retail is a marketing services specialist with a particular passion for innovation in display and point of purchase. Offering a full range of services from creative development to logistics planning and delivery, all backed up with bomb proof project management, Brand Retail clients include several national high street retailers, professional membership organisations, and educational establishments. With its expertise in building total solutions for clients, Brand Retail manages and delivers every single aspect of an entire project, from developing creative concepts and design solutions right through to final production and installation, if that’s what’s needed. “At the core of what we do is a determination to deliver highly effective solutions in a cost effective, efficient, and customer-focused way,” Tony Walton, the firm’s Founder and Managing Director elaborates. “We are agile and adaptable and better able to think beyond the obvious. Our compact size allows us to respond quickly, but without compromising our effectiveness.” Recently, in recognition of its innovative solutions, Brand Retail gained the title of Best Modular Temporary Walling System 2024 – Europe in the UK Enterprise Awards for its display walls. Display Walls by Brand Retail are a modular temporary walling system, made up of sections that are connected to form any length and shape of wall required. As an adaptable solution, with unlimited potential that will help bring any exhibition vision to life, Display Walls were originally conceived for use as additional exhibit walling for art galleries, museums, and display space. Today, the product can be used to display something beautiful or to hide something unsightly. The entire wall or individual sections can be printed to create an entirely bespoke display, plus the system incorporates a hanging rail with the ability to add lighting. Display Walls don’t need any special tools or specialist knowledge to put together as the system is super-lightweight and easy to build, just start with two panels forming a right angle and build from there. Changing from one configuration to another is also very simple. The Display Wall system is incredibly adaptable with endless possibilities for layouts. The only constraints are the imagination and the space available! It is unique solutions such as Display Walls that form Brand Retail’s unique selling point, and Tony tells us more. “The projects that other marketing services agencies don’t know how to deliver are our bread and butter!” he enthuses. “Our Display Walls System is a case in point – We had a client who asked us to source a modular gallery system for their exhibition space. They wanted something that could be free standing and easily configurable to a whole range of different layouts, space, and media. We scoured the world, but in the end, we realised that ultimately it would be more cost effective for the client if we designed and built a system ourselves rather than take something that didn’t tick all the boxes.” And so the Display Walls by Brand Retail concept was born out of finding a suitable solution to a tricky challenge! It seems that constant research and engagement with clients and end users helps to keep the company up-to-date and ahead of the curve. Now, as Tony and the team look to the future, it seems that there are ambitious plans ahead, including investing in the skills and technology to enable Brand Retail to build digital twins of key spaces within a clients’ retail portfolio. “This will give us the capability to plan and execute highly targeted in-store promotional activity beyond the conventional, existing promotional fixtures,” Tony states. “Using escalators as billboards, columns as poster sites, and developing underutilised wall space for tactical promotion.” Contact: Tony Walton Company: Display Walls by Brand Retail Web Address: www.brandretail.co.uk
