As well as the unpredictable Manchester rain, which frequently halts progress, Matt tells us that the landscape gardening industry is fairly unregulated and, therefore, he sees a lot of clients paying an awful lot of money for poor-quality work. As installation methods are always improving, it’s frustrating for him and the dedicated team to see work not being carried out properly. To this end, Matt would like to see more regulation to improve the industry, in much the same way that building work adheres to building control stipulations.
