Every year since its foundation, the business has achieved growth, increasing turnover and profit steadily. Now, Kobe is mainly involved in the management of the business, but still drives if needed, especially on new contracts to assess the customer’s needs first-hand. Having purchased five brand new DAF XG state-ofthe-art trucks in January 2023, Wizz Ground is currently running 41 vehicles, spread across three depots. The company has also invested in new premises in Wellingborough, with a new base, head office, conference room, and driver facilities. This location has an on-site warehouse, allowing it to offer some storage and distribution services, and a workshop where it can service its own and third-party vehicles.
