Our industry, like others, is seeing a growth in the number of independent, smaller operations that can be more community biased and fleet of foot; evidence shows that the buying public are moving towards good independent suppliers for various reasons, and it is a great feeling to be part of this shift.” Looking ahead, Simon is optimistic about the future of Bradleys Coffee, as he is proud to conclude. “In today’s environment of accelerating technological advancements, mobile encapsulation and online shopping, high-street businesses need to develop strategies to promote business into the future. With a table-service approach, at Bradleys Coffee we aim to minimise the time people spend with the ‘process’ of getting a coffee and a snack, and maximise their time doing what people turn up here for; catching up with family and friends and enjoying their experience. This unique approach will remain our focus as we continue to offer an innovative solution that meets our clients’ ever evolving needs.” “To be recognised for this award is an absolute privelage… we have worked hard at promoting our brand and associating Bradleys with being a ‘destination’. Our staff, from their exclusive in- house comprehensive training and ongoing development are the absolute cornerstone of our ability to create the look, feel and taste of our offerings, and this award is as much a celebration of their approach and unified skills as anything else. In todays environment of accelerating technological advancements, mobile encapsulation and online shopping, high-street businesses need to develop strategies to promote business into the future. If you can sell something that doesn’t land easily on your doormat – then that’s a great start. “
