security has been provided to charity and fundraising events, such as a bonfire that occurred shortly after Covid-lockdown, that saw all proceeds raised be given to Cancer Research. Furthermore, Navigation has donated generously to its local Santa Appeal charity, which distributes selection boxes to children across the Cynon Valley. Additional sponsorship efforts undertaken by the business are the supporting of a local football team, which would have ceased to exist without the sponsorship, and local professional boxer Kieran Jones. In the same vein, Navigation has recently opened a boxing gym that is specifically designed to support the local youth communities, in an area where a distinct lack of after school activities was present. This project was a great success, and the firm thus decided to open the gym up to adult classes that promote exercise and mental well-being throughout the community. Thanks to a stellar reputation in the local area on the back of these noble projects, the company was approached by DWP and Tydfil Training and Communities to aid and remedy local employment issues. Recently, Navigation has affiliated itself with the Disability Confident programme, something that it has been highly commended for by its clients, big or small. The company being recognised as a firm that does things right is the culmination of many years of growth and hard work. Today, Navigation Security Services has the privilege of servicing many clients, from blue-chip down to start-ups and one-off events. Rhys’ heartfelt response that this award means the world to the company, is testament to its modest and integral nature, which is sure to lead to continued success for the next 18 years, and beyond.
