UK Enterprise Awards 2026/ 74 Best Holistic Wellness Studio 2026 - South Wales When Debbie Robinson created Yoga Junkie, it was exactly that, a space for likeminded people to learn and practice yoga. Fast forward a few years, and the idea has grown considerably. Based in rural South Wales, Yoga Junkie runs from two spaces, Bronleigh House, home to The Studio and The Attic on the second floor, and Yoga Junkie HQ at Lletyr Gof Farm. Between them, experienced instructors lead a wide range of wellbeing sessions, from reformer Pilates to breathwork, yoga to Reiki, hammock sound healing to barre and the aerial sling. There is something for everyone. Debbie explains: "Our clients are diverse, but there is a clear commonality between them. They come not simply to move, but to recalibrate. To feel better in their bodies, but also clearer, more regulated and better resourced." Years of experience in wellbeing have taught Debbie that certain life events can have a major impact on overall health. With that in mind, Yoga Junkie also offers 1 to 1 support, including menopause coaching, menopause nutrition coaching, life coaching and grief recovery. She says: "Clients often come to us carrying something. That might be pressure, responsibility, transition or grief, and we are here to help them navigate that. Our grief recovery work is one of the most important things we do. It is structured, evidence informed, and delivered with the same care and precision as everything else we offer." With values centred on care, integrity and accessibility, Yoga Junkie is not chasing trends or high end price points. For Debbie, wellness is not a luxury. She tells us: "We do not turn anyone away because of circumstance. That is not just a policy, it is a value. Accessibility matters deeply to us, and we have made deliberate choices to reflect that. Lower price points, community classes and tiered membership exist because we believe what we offer should be within reach." Working alongside third sector and local government organisations, Debbie and the team often offer their time voluntarily, not to promote the business, but because the work matters. She says: "If we can reach someone who would otherwise never have access, that is the point. It has always been the point. Community is not something we have built around the business. It is the reason the business exists." Looking ahead through 2026 and into 2027, Yoga Junkie's focus is considered growth. In Debbie's words: "Growth without dilution." The plan is to keep building the reformer Pilates offering, introduce specialist workshops in nervous system regulation, and take sound healing and restorative work into carefully chosen spaces in the UK and abroad. Expanding the 1 to 1 menopause coaching, grief recovery and life coaching work, alongside deepening existing community partnerships, remains a priority.
