Fortoak’s dedicated team provides professional sales and financial customer support. The business operates from a purpose-built eco-friendly 120,000 square foot warehouse, enabling it to offer consistently reliable pick pack services and parcel, pallet, and truck load deliveries. Humayun Modi shares, “We have a unique value proposition as we are part of a vertically integrated manufacturing chain that manages its own forest, pulp production, paper making, and coating in China. The mill produces its own thermal paper, carbonless paper, and a variety of label facestocks and release liners. As the exclusive distributor for the UK, we carry inventory in our distribution centre in Hams Hall where we process up to 20 containers per month.”
In addition to over 50 stock lines of paper rolls, Fortoak offers custom size rolls and printed rolls including thermal, carbonless, and bond rolls to meet all major printing specifications. These rolls offer a wide range of applications including PDQ credit card machines, EFTPOS and POS (electronic payment systems), Kitchen Printers, Tachographs, and Betting. Most recently, Fortoak has introduced a Pick & Pack service, providing customers with a seamless and personalised way to receive their products. After closing their third-party warehouse facility, a client began utilising Fortoak’s eco-friendly warehouse operation, which provided them with access to over 100 additional stock lines and enabled them to reduce total warehouse charges and personnel.
Additionally, Fortoak was able to offer the client enhanced service levels, same-day despatch as standard, and a reduction in working capital, leaving them free to focus on sales. With its end-to-end warehouse and distribution services, Fortoak provides clients with a cost-effective solution to solve their storage, fulfilment, and delivery challenges.

Fortoak worked with the reseller to revise the specification of the thermal roll, creating an eco-friendly lightweight product that could be produced to a longer length based on a coreless roll.
The successful collaboration resulted in improved machine uptime, sustainability, reduced waste from the disposal of old cores, lower total cost of handling, and an exceptional level of service for the retailers’ client.
