Southall Funeral Service

A third-generation family business with more than 30 years’ experience, Southall Funeral Service is able to offer an elegant and dedicated service to the community for the families of those who have passed away. As we celebrate some of London’s greatest SMEs in this year’s Greater London Enterprise Awards we felt it was important to offer an overview of this dedicated funeral specialist and explore its legacy of excellence.

For more than three decades Southall Funeral Service has been working to alleviate the burden on the bereaved by helping them to craft the perfect send-off for their loved ones.

Since the very beginning the firm has been family run and dedicated to offer a personal approach to funeral services. After supplying funeral vehicles to the funeral profession across the west London area since 1968, John and Jennifer Tiney opened Southall Funeral Service as a small family run Funeral Directors in October 1982 to serve the local community of Southall and the surrounding areas. They were committed to quality from the beginning, and offered a personal, 24-hour service designed to support everyone, no matter what they needed.

John and Jennifer’s son Michael joined the family business in February 1996, while their son David joined the family run business in April 2004, in 2017 Michael’s son Ben joined the family business, to carry on the tradition of being a small family run funeral business making it a third-generation family run funeral directors.

In February 2012, Southall Funeral Service took delivery of a new fleet of vehicles based on the new Jaguar XJ design. As a result, they are able to offer a quality service to all clients, ensuring class and distinction.

Today, the firm remains as focused on quality as ever. To this end, Southall Funeral Service is proud to be associated with S.A.I.F (The National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors) and adhere to their Code of Practice and standards and are inspected to ensure we maintain these.

With an expert team of compassionate staff, the firm can make all necessary funeral arrangements and offer advice as requested. Each and every member of the team at Southall Funeral Service has the experience to ensure every funeral goes without a hitch and is designed to be a personal affair that will honour the deceased and leave a lasting memory of their life.

To this very day Southall Funeral Service is proud to be an independent firm that offers quality and bespoke service. Independent family owned companies carry out the majority of funerals in the UK and the combination of many years of expertise and being focused on their local community means that local firms can deliver a truly personal service appropriate to the needs of the bereaved at an incredibly challenging time.

Ultimately, for those seeking a service that is designed around them, as well as exceptional quality service during the planning and delivery of a funeral, then Southall Funeral Service is the ideal firm to collaborate with.
