Andrew Ellinas and his father George opened Batchley Fish Bar exactly 35 years ago for traditional ,quality fish & chips and introduced kebabs to Redditch and surrounding areas. After a small break for studies at university Andrew took over and didn’t look back since. Andrew was a member of the NFFF years ago and was selected to appear on the BBC 2 Working lunch to give his views on the trade.Over the years he has employed different types of people and and was approached for investors in people. Winning regional finals for competitions for best fish and chips take away aswell as the Seafish quality award hasn’t made Andrew stop there. He continues to love his work and customers near and far.
