Aftrak LTD

Aftrak is a Loughborough University spin-out delivering solar-powered micro electric tractors and modular microgrids for smallholder farmers in sub-Saharan Africa. The system combines a lightweight, low-maintenance tractor with a range of attachments for soil preparation, planting, irrigation, and transport, all powered by a portable solar array. By enabling Deep Bed Farming Aftrak increases yields, reduces operating costs, and strengthen s community resilience through, accessible mechanisation.
