About Animex Bridge
Most Innovative Endangered Species Habitat Connectivity Solution 2021
<p>The Animex Bridge was developed in partnership with the People’s Trust for Endangered Species (PTES) to provide a proven arboreal crossing for endangered species such as the Hazel Dormouse (Muscardinus avellanarius).</p>
<p>We trialled our bridge design and showed it would work for Hazel Dormice, Red Squirrels and other species in 2019 published research. We are now working on projects throughout the UK and Europe to implement the Animex Bridge as mitigation, with two bridges crossing the M1 motorway.</p>
