<p>I started machine knitting in 1989, while I was expecting our first child. More or less self taught, I knitted jumpers, hats, mittens, socks, etc for family and friends and only went into business nearly 7 years ago, when a local designer asked me to help her get a knitwear collection together. I knitted and finished all her pieces until 2015 and she said I should do my own knitwear collection as well, then in 2020, I took over her knitwear company and now have her designs under my own label.</p>
