Campaign for Borders Rail

The Campaign for Borders Rail is an independent non political community-based Group with over 1000 members. Founded in 1999, it has been one of the most successful grassroots rail campaigns in Great Britain and there is a committee of 15 people including the office bearers and they are elected by the membership at the annual general meeting. Our biggest success to date was the reopening of part of the Waverley Line in 2015 from Edinburgh to Tweedbank in the Scottish Borders
