Best Sustainable Development Charity 2023 – UK
<p>CoFarm is a sustainable development charity that brings people together to grow and share nutritious food, build stronger communities and healthier ecosystems. </p>
<p>The charity has created a new model of community-based agroecological farming – or ‘CoFarming’ – in Cambridge. Over 1,000 CoFarmers have co-designed and co-created their own farm, donating over £100K of fresh fruit and veg to people in need.</p>
<p>CoFarm is now embarking on scaling up the model, with and for communities across the UK.</p>
