John Port Spencer Academy

John Port Spencer Academy in Etwall, Derbyshire, is a large secondary school with over 2,000 students. We focus on developing resilience, strong moral purpose, and personal growth through our personal development and wider enrichment. Year 7 students “grow a pound,” developing entrepreneurial skills, raising money to make care packs for Derby and Burton Maternity Hospitals, Whilst Year 12 take part in £10 challenge where all profits go to charity reflecting our values of joy, care, and kindness.
