<p>My art is inspired by my love of the natural world. This interest in nature started from my childhood in Barbados, kindled by my father who was a keen naturalist and breeder of exotic birds.</p> <p>I grew up with aviaries of various birds, while assisting in the care of these, I observed the smallest details in feet, beaks, feathers.</p> <p>This early knowledge allowed me to understand the anatomy of birds.</p> <p>I choose watercolour for its ability to render the sharp detail required for birds and animal</p>
