Best Independent DIY & Hardware Store 2025 – Surrey
<p>The shop was built in 1937 and opened as a DIY shop. There has only been four owners in that time.</p>
<p>All connected to the local church.</p>
<p>Ron and Simon purchased the shop in 1997. Ron retired in 2010 and the shop is now run by Simon and Julie Hayes.</p>
<p>As a shop all the staff are here to serve the community and help with many needs.</p>
<p>The shop has won many awards including this years ‘Lenny Henry Award’ presented live on Comic Relief BBC2, for 15 years of dressing up for Red Nose Day.</p>
