Scottish Men's Sheds Association (SMSA)

The Scottish Men’s Sheds Association (SMSA) is the national support body for Men’s Sheds across Scotland, helping over 200 Sheds in all 32 local authority areas. It supports more than 12,000 Shedders nationwide, offering guidance, resources, training, and networking. The SMSA enables community groups to establish and sustain safe, welcoming spaces where men can connect, share skills, and improve wellbeing, tackling isolation and strengthening communities across Scotland.
