Best Independent Elderly Educational Charity 2023 – Greater Manchester
<p>The u3a is aimed at older (no specific age limits) and/or retired people and is aimed at learning and enjoying life. Our motto is: Learn, Laugh, Live! We offer over 35 different activities ranging from badminton to bridge, art appreciation to Anglo Saxon history, tai chi to table tennis, and learning Welsh to walking for health. Meetings are held during the daytime at a variety of venues. Cost of joining is a mere £15 a year, and attendance at meetings £1 – £2 each time.</p>
