Community Oral Health Initiative of the Year 2026
Founded and self‑funded by local dentist Dr Kev Chavda, the Ilkeston 100 provides free toothbrushes and practical oral‑health education to children across local schools. What began with 100 toothbrushes has grown into a recognised community initiative supported by local partners and celebrated for its simple, scalable approach to improving children’s health.
