<p>My work moves between painting, photography and digital art favouring instinct over planning. On canvas I let the texture build and paint flow. Whether i’m focussing on the figurative or the abstract, building up fields of raw colour and gesture, the process is intuitive. The work begins before the mind interferes. Recurring subjects range from intimate, quiet objects to loose, luminous abstractions. Nature and light inevitably find a way in.</p>
