requires a higher level of intelligence, long-term planning and creativity. In the real-world
marketplace, these skills are in high demand and are therefore very expensive. The so-called
success stories are meaningless noise to anybody who has ever tried to market their products or
services to a social media crowd. This article covers why you should invest in social media
marketing, but make no mistake, it is very difficult and/or very expensive to do correctly.

Brilliant Strategy, Creativity and Intelligence is Rewarded

In most fields of endeavour, the people who excel are the ones who can get results. Strategy is

excel, will excel in social media. If you are very creative, good at strategizing, and are highly
intelligent, then you will find a way to bend social media over your knee and give it a darn good
spanking. Though, one suspects that if you tried most creative marketing fields that you would
also do the same.

You Can Buy Shortcuts to Get a Jump Start

Here is where the “Why” and the “Can” intermingle. You “Can” buy other people’s social media
accounts, and that is “Why” you should consider investing in social media marketing. In real-world
terms, buying somebody else’s social media account is like paying for a slot of advertising before a
big music concert. If done correctly, buying another person’s social media account is like buying a
crowd of people on social media, without actually breaking any of the social media platform’s
rules.


People who have plenty of followers will put their social media accounts on Fameswap, and small
businesses may come along and buy them up. You can buy more than one, and then use that
influence to either sell products/services to them, or you can use the social media accounts to
promote your primary accounts and website. For a small business, this is the fastest way to make a
genuine impact on social media without having to do the hard work yourself. It is not a good long-
term strategy, but it can get your campaigns going with a bang.

Paying the Platforms For Promotion and More Conversions

Perhaps you do not have the creative flair required to build an amazing social media campaign.
Perhaps you are better at affiliate advertising. If that is the case, try something like Google Ads for
things like YouTube or Rumble. Try the “Boost” system on Facebook and Instagram, or the

“Promotion” coins on TikTok. They allow you to create a short advert, post it, and then pay for
platforms themselves to promote them within the social media system. It is expensive but is an
effective way of making an impact on social media.


Why do this at all? It allows you to generate interest in your social media posts and your adverts.
Your CTR (Click Through Rate) may be pretty lousy, but over time, you will gain more followers and
more of a presence online. That way, over the long term and in the future, your paid marketing
and unpaid marketing will become more effective. The benefit therefore being that you gain more
attention, subscriptions, warm leads, conversions, etc.


Don’t Believe The Hype

The general gist of this article is that you can earn more conversions through social media, making
it a reasonable place to find new customers, build your brand message and so forth. However,
most articles (including this one) seem to forget the sheer weight of work it takes to turn views
into conversions on social media. The biggest benefit of social media marketing is that you will
earn conversions, but it takes a long time and it isn’t easy, and for some small businesses…that is a
deal breaker. If you are prepared to put the time, creativity, intelligence and hard work into social
media, then it is worth investing in social media marketing.
