One of the fastest growing sectors within the fitness industry, Pilates is entirely unregulated. With more versions of pilates diluting the industry and promoting alternative practices, the methodology developed by Joseph Pilates throughout his lifetime has been watered down to a just a group exercise class. In Swansea, one Pilates studio is fighting to preserve the true method developed by Joseph Pilates himself; The Pilates Studio Swansea is a second-generation studio leveraging more than two decades of expertise to deliver an authentic Pilates experience to clients of all ages and abilities. Founder Fera Smith told us more below. International Industry Leader of the Year 2026: Longevity & Wellness & Outstanding Client Experience Award 2026: Fitness Industry The story of The Pilates Studio Swansea began in 1998, when Founder Fera Smith first started practicing Pilates after sustaining a sports injury. Through Pilates, Fera discovered a form of exercise that did not only strengthen and balance the body but also engaged the mind. She began training at two of the first Pilates training centres under the tutelage of Romana Kryzanowska, one of Joseph Pilates’ few successors, in 2001 and completed her comprehensive certification in 2003. Fera brought this original methodology to Wales in 2006 with a move to Mumbles, opening The Pilates Studio Swansea as a fully equipped studio in 2016. The Pilates Studio Swansea is the only second-generation, comprehensively trained, and fully equipped Pilates studio and training centre in Wales, with Fera establishing the UK’s second Romana’s Pilates International Training Centre in 2023. Today, The Pilates Studio Swansea stands as the second Romana’s International teacher training studio in the UK, connected with four other training studios in the UK, and hundreds around the world. The studio is dedicated to providing the highest quality and most comprehensive Pilates teaching to its clients and creating the highest quality teachers through its educational programme, promoting Joseph Pilates’s original Pilates method throughout Swansea, Wales, and the wider world. “The original method of Pilates is different from most modern exercise classes,” Fera told us. “Pilates is not an exercise class; it is a complete system of movement designed to be experienced individually with consideration, repetition, and dedication, all standards that are lost in a group exercise class. When working with new clients I often address poor movement habits, preconceived notions, and false expectations built from an industry which has grown more from the motive of profit than a deep understanding of The Method.” As an intimate boutique studio, The Pilates Studio Swansea maintains small session sizes to ensure that every client receives hands-on cuing and correction, even in group sessions. As Pilates is a complete method and system designed to support movement, the system can be adapted to each client and is suitable for bodies of all ages; The Pilates Studio Swansea serves a client base ranging from 13 to 86 years old, and has supported clients through pregnancy, spinal cord injury, chronic conditions, high-level sport, and more. Dedicated to providing each client with the highest standard of Pilates, The Pilates Studio Swansea takes deep pride in the quality of its teachings. It ensures that every teacher is comprehensively trained in the original methodology and can recognise the difference between moving the entire body into balance and merely performing external choreography. What’s more, its teachers must demonstrate the ability to adjust their methodologies in alignment with each unique client. Most importantly, The Pilates Studio Swansea consistently offers opportunities to other teachers in the area, offering workshops with international teacher and keeping the doors open to all Pilates teachers. One of only a few studios in Wales to employ comprehensively trained teachers, The Pilates Studio Swansea stands far apart in a market oversaturated with fitness reformer studios. The studio offers a comprehensive training programme to aspiring instructors, beginning with pre-programme preparation, moving on to an intensive apprenticeship in the complete Pilates system across all apparatus, teaching observation, teaching practice, movement mentorship, written and oral testing, and ongoing learning after certification with annual continuing professional education. “We are recruiting apprenticeships for intake to our 2027 apprenticeship programme,” Fera announced. “In order to teach a subject, an apprentice should have a working knowledge of that subject. Our apprenticeship programme is incredibly rigorous, and apprentices are required to test into the programme. Because of this, The Pilates Studio Swansea also mentors potential apprentices, preparing them to be ready in their knowledge of Pilates so, when they enter the programme, they can then successfully learn how to teach.” The Pilates Studio Swansea is celebrating the ten year anniversary of its studio this year, marked by a weekend celebration that brought together over a dozen teachers from around the UK to participate in workshops ran by leading Pilates professionals. Now, as the studio is named International Industry Leader of the Year 2026 in Longevity and Wellness, alongside receiving the Outstanding Client Experience Award 2026 for the Fitness Industry, we at SME News Magazine wish the team another decade of success in preserving and promoting authentic Pilates. Welsh Enterprise Awards 2026/ 6 Dental Practice of the Year 2026 – South East Wales & Outstanding Patient Care Award 2026 – South East Wales As likely the oldest dental practice in Wales to operate continuously from its original site, Glenhaven Dental is unique in that it has only even been owned by two families. The close-knit nature of this practice gives way to exemplary treatments being afforded to patients, not only concerning dental health, but also across its other provisions of implant care and facial aesthetics. On the back of its recognition with two awards in this year’s Welsh Enterprise Awards, we take a closer look at its esteemed history. For more than 100 years now, Glenhaven Dental has operated from its picturesque location in the shadow of the magnificent Castell Coch, just on the outskirts of Cardiff. Started by the Lewis family in 1909, the practice was passed down through three generations, before Dr Colin Griffiths joined as a business partner over 40 years ago. In 2009, alongside his wife Denise, Colin bought the practice from the Lewis family. In 2010, their daughter Lara and her husband Mark joined as dentists closely followed by their son Chris and fiancé Jess. They quickly set about transforming the property into a stunning dental practice, blending the old with the new. The first step of this transformation, which aimed to make Glenhaven Dental the best practice in Wales, was expansion, as this traditional village property needed more space to house the varied, state-of-theart treatments that a practice holding this title would offer to patients. Bringing both the house and the three existing surgeries into the modern era took three years to complete, with the practice today boasting six surgeries, a decontamination room, two specialist treatment rooms, and a consultation room. Across the project, the aim was to create a practice that felt warm and inviting, one that respected its history but also reflected the aim of raising the bar for modern dentistry. Through the calm haven that was created, it is fair to say this was achieved. However, this was not the first time that this idea of a ‘haven’ was associated with the practice, as it has been part of its two-fold name (‘Glen’ refers to a narrow valley with a river running through it, in this case the River Taff opposite) since the early 90s. Glenhaven Dental’s slogan is ‘more than a dental practice’, which reflects its comprehensive approach to not only dental needs, but also patient care. Several members of the Griffiths family are today part of this team, and they bring a personal touch to their roles at every turn. Dr Colin Griffiths is now the Clinical Director and Owner together with his wife Denise who is Practice Director and Owner. Their daughter Lara is now the principal dentist at the practice, and their son Chris is now the Business Manager. The family at Glenhaven Dental does, however, extend much further, comprising every member of staff as well as the members of the local community it has served now for 116 years and counting. In this way, the practice is entirely unique. As a spokesperson for the practice told us: “Our wonderful team are highly professional, accomplished, experienced, and loyal. We believe that providing exceptional dental care requires excellent organisation, communication, trust, responsibility and delegation.” They continued: “At Glenhaven Dental, we feel it is vital to keep our staff motivated and focused on patient care.” This ethos runs across the practice, seen from its nursing team and its dentists to the business team, who are the backbone of its success. With such a strong, aligned team at its disposal, Glenhaven Dental is able to offer services across private dental care and Denplan Essentials alike, with treatments ranging from more general dental/hygiene care to more complex treatments including Dental Implants, Invisalign (Adult Clear Braces), teeth whitening, veneers, crowns/bridges, and ‘Cerec’ tooth-coloured fillings made on site. Outside of this, the practice also offers ‘Aesthetics by Dr Lara’, this through a clinic incorporated inside itself. Treatments here include Botox® and dermal fillers, available for both body and face. The array of services and treatments provided by Glenhaven Dental, not to mention the unrivalled consistency across their delivery, has resulted in an array of industry awards over the past couple of years, as well as client acclaim. For example, in its latest independent client survey, the practice received 99% on its patient satisfaction score. Similarly, in its last inspection from Health Inspectorate Wales, this in July 2023, the practice achieved 100%, before netting the same perfect score in its Denplan Excel inspection. Figures like this do not lie, and they reflect the staggering achievements in patient care that Glenhaven Dental has earned over the last few years. This only adds to the legacy of excellence that the practice has nurtured over the last century, with its refusal to rest on its laurels and pledge to continue to go above and beyond for patients resulting in its rightful recognition as Dental Practice of the Year in South East Wales for the second consecutive year with the Outstanding Patient Care Award 2026 – South East Wales. Whether you are seeking to carpet a single bedroom or lay down the flooring of an entire office space, Rob Santwris Flooring leverages more than two decades of experience to deliver the tailored solution you need. The company offers a comprehensive flooring service that encompasses carpets, vinyl, luxury, vinyl tiles, laminate, and wood flooring, as well as subfloor preparation and specialist commercial flooring. We heard more from Director Max Rose below, as Rob Santwris Flooring is named in the Welsh Enterprise Awards 2026. Most Trusted Flooring Retailer 2026 – South Wales Based in Newport, South Wales, Rob Santwris Flooring is a family-run flooring company that supplies and fits flooring for both domestic and commercial customers across South Wales. The company offers a complete flooring service to a wide range of clients, from homeowners looking to transform a single room or an entire property through to businesses, offices, schools, and other commercial organisations. The flooring industry is a significantly competitive landscape, with businesses facing pressures from both independent retailers and the larger national chains. In such a fast-paced environment, Rob Santwris Flooring strives to distinguish itself from the crowd by offering the personal service of a local, family-run business whilst still competing on price, choice, and the scale of work it can undertake. As Rob Santwris Flooring has grown through the years, the range and scale of projects its team undertakes has increased considerably, particularly within the commercial sector. The company’s core values, however, has remained unchanged; no matter the project’s size or scope, the team aims to deliver the same personal, straightforward service that Rob Santwris Flooring was built on, whilst continuing to evolve alongside the market. “Our main goal has always been quite simple: to provide good-quality flooring, professional fitting, and a reliable service at a fair price,” Max told us. “Customer service is at the heart of the business. We value honesty, reliability, quality workmanship, and treating every job with the same level of care, regardless of its size. We want customers to feel confident dealing with us from the initial measure and quotation right through to the completed installation.” This is perhaps one of Rob Santwris Flooring’s greatest strengths in such a saturated market: its team looks after the whole process, from offering a free home measure and advice on choosing the right flooring through to preparation and professional installation. Rather than juggling numerous contracts with multiple players, clients can confidently partner with one trusted company they know they can rely on throughout the process. Rob Santwris Flooring is also known for its Free Gripper offer. A gripper is a crucial component of the flooring process, used to secure and hold down carpets or rugs. This free service has become a recognisable part of the Rob Santwris Flooring brand and helps the team provide additional value to its customers, without compromising on the quality of the flooring or fitting. This service is delivered by a dedicated team, who are driven by the customer-focused culture fostered within Rob Santwris Flooring. “Everyone understands that their role has an impact on the customer experience, whether they are answering the phone, helping someone choose a product, measuring a property, or carrying out the installation,” said Max. “We all genuinely care about the customer and want the finished job to be something we can be proud of.” This approach to client-service has established Rob Santwris Flooring as the partner of choice to countless households and businesses seeking to transform their space. Since its inception in 1993, the family-run business has grown upon a foundation of friendly service, guaranteed delivery, and exceptional value, making a name for the confidence and care that defines its service. Recognised as South Wales’s Most Trusted Flooring Retailer 2026, Rob Santwris Flooring has amassed a large amount of repeat business and recommendations through the years, evidenced by its remarkable 4.9-star rating on Google. One returning client wrote: “Absolutely fantastic service once again. This is the fourth time I’ve used Rob Santwris Flooring and, every time, I’ve had great quality carpets, excellent workmanship, and prices that are always reasonable. Highly recommend.” “Our biggest selling point is our reputation,” Max concluded. “A large proportion of our work comes through recommendations and repeat customers. We focus on being approachable, straightforward, and reliable, and if there is ever an issue, we believe in dealing with it properly. We want customers to come back to us for their next flooring project and feel confident recommending us to friends, family, or other businesses.” Contact: Max Rose Company: Rob Santwris Flooring Ltd Web Address: www.robsantwriscarpets.co.uk

Welsh Enterprise Awards 2026/ 8 Catalyst Handling Excellence Award 2026 & Health & Safety Innovation Excellence Award 2026 Since its incorporation in 1985, Technivac has provided specialise support to clients across the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries. From the outset, the company has been heavily committed to the research and development of purpose-designed handling equipment. Today, Technivac stands as a world leader in innovation, particularly in relation to minimising confined space entry, eliminating dust emission, and bringing about substantial cost savings in reducing attrition damage and shutdown time scales. We heard more from General Manager Ross Jones below. Over the past 40 years, Technivac has executed in excess of 1,000 changeouts under breathable and inert conditions, without a single operational lost time accident. Recognised across the industry for its capabilities, the company has worked closely with most of the major catalyst and molecular sieve manufacturing companies and operate under approval and framework agreements as an approved handler. Today, Technivac offers a comprehensive service in the field of catalyst handling, spanning loading, unloading, full changeouts, repackaging, sampling, testing, and demonstrations for prospective clients. The company offers bespoke packages on request, with the capability to purchase, changeout, and dispose all types of catalysts and molecular sieves. Undertaking a complete changeout is a core element of Technivac’s offerings, with its in-house fabrication facility enabling the team to meet any customer’s demands and needs. When it comes to loading, Technivac delivers loading methods on both conventional and innovative levels. Alongside the conventional methods of mechanical lifting and hopper loading, Technivac’s fabrication facility has developed loading technology that enables its team to load all types of catalysts and associated products in all kinds of weather, regardless of how it is packaged. Technivac’s ClamFlo technology system is designed to pneumatically convey fresh material from ground level to the top manway of almost any given distance whilst ensuring minimal damage and attrition to the product. This technology can handle a variety of volumes, providing its team with the flexibility to accommodate all variants of packaging that the product may be delivered in, such as 205 litre drums, bulk bags, or tote bins. Behind this standout service stands the dedicated Technivac team, whose operations have been shaped by the company’s core values of quality, integrity, reliability, customer service, and teamwork. While the business has naturally evolved since it was established, these underlying values have remained largely unchanged, though their application has shifted in alignment with developing customer expectations, technology, and industry requirements. However, the fundamental principles of providing a quality service and looking after customers remain at the heart of Technivac. “Our overall mission is relatively straightforward: to provide our customers with consistently high levels of quality, service, and technical expertise, while continuing to develop Technivac as a sustainable, successful, and forward-thinking business,” said Ross. “An important part of that is ensuring that we continuously improve how we operate, invest in our people and capabilities, and adapt to the changing requirements of our customers and the industries in which they operate.” In recent years, the industrial services sector has faced significant challenges due to reduced investment in UK oil and gas production, driven in part by government policies supporting the transition to greener energy sources. As a result, the available workload within the sector has decreased, creating a far more competitive marketplace. Recognising these industry-wide changes, Technivac understands that diversification is essential to its long-term growth. Of this development, Ross shared, “While Technivac has proudly provided specialist catalyst handling services to the oil, gas, and petrochemical sectors for over 40 years, we appreciate the importance of adapting to changing market demands and exploring new opportunities.” As part of this strategy, Technivac will be launching a new Standby and Rescue division in the coming months. This service will build on the extensive experience and expertise its team has developed by carrying out such activities for its own personnel for more than two decades, allowing the team to expand Technivac’s offering while complementing its existing capabilities. Technivac will be the first company in its sector to offer this specialist service, providing a unique solution to clients operating in high-risk environments. What’s more, Technivac reached a major milestone in 2025 with the purchase of its own premises, representing a new period of growth for its team. “We are scheduled to relocate to our new facility in October 2026, marking an exciting new chapter for the business,” Ross concluded. “The building has been specifically designed to support future growth, enhance operational efficiency, and create additional opportunities for expansion, making it the perfect platform for the next stage of Technivac’s development.” Contact: Ross Jones Company: Technivac Limited Web Address: www.technivac.co.uk Technivac Limited

Leveraging local expertise across over 40 countries, the global debt collection and receivables management partner is on a mission to support its customers’ growth wherever they trade by providing effective, ethical, and technology-enabled receivables management solutions. Offering a service built on customer focus, local knowledge, innovation, compliance, and global reach, Atradius Collections has evolved from a traditional debt collection agency into a full-service debt collection and receivables management partner. Rather than limiting its services to mere debt collection, the CICMQ-accredited company supports the entire order-to-cash cycle for its clients, from early-stage collections and AR outsourcing through to legal recovery. This process is brought together on a single global platform, that reduces the need for customers to manage multiple collection agencies across different countries. Atradius Collections has developed a number of online tools to support this strategy. Through their dedicated portal, Collect@Net, Collections customers can access the company’s debt collection management system seamlessly entering that global platform. Through a digital credit management platform called Credit IQ, businesses can follow up invoices automatically, monitor customer risk, gain insights into payment behaviour, and make more informed credit decisions. In a competitive market, Atradius Collections stands out for combining this groundbreaking technology with a unique blend of global reach and local expertise. It provides trade invoice collection services in 96% of countries around the world, delivered by collectors capable of speaking every debtor’s language and understanding the local laws, business practices, and cultures. Atradius Collections is the only debt collector within the UK to boast such capabilities. Though its presence is indeed global, Atradius Collections’ heart remains firmly rooted in Wales. “Being based in Wales gives Atradius access to exceptional talent, strong business networks, and a collaborative environment from which to serve customers globally,” Lucy explained. “In return, we create skilled employment, support local charities and sustainable businesses, retain talent within Wales, and contribute to the economic prosperity of the communities in which we operate.” “Global business, Welsh roots, local impact.” The Welsh economy is driven by a large SME base and, while insolvency levels have started to stabilise, they remain significantly higher than pre-pandemic levels and businesses continue to face pressure from rising costs, weaker demand, and ongoing geopolitical uncertainty. This means that many businesses across the country remain sensitive to cashflow disruption, late payment, and customer insolvency. Such an uncertain environment has made robust credit management, visibility of customer risk, and effective cashflow management more important than ever before. These developments have prompted Atradius Collections to reassess and refine its operations in order to better support its Welsh clientele, with one of its current priorities being the expansion and enhancement of Credit IQ. With this, Atradius Collections intends to make the platform more integrated and data-driven, enhancing the customer experience and providing greater value through data and analytics. In the next 12 months, the team hopes to partner with a funder to also offer business finance through the platform, further supporting its SME client base. “The future of Atradius Collections will be built on three pillars: technology, data, and global expertise,” Lucy concluded. “While debt collection remains at the heart of what we do, we are increasingly investing in AI, analytics, automation, and broader receivables management solutions to help customers prevent payment problems before they occur. Our ambition is to remain the leading global B2B debt recovery specialist while evolving into a more digital, proactive, and data-driven partner for our customers.” Contact: Lucy Stagg Company: Atradius Collections Ltd Web Address: www.atradiuscollections.com/uk As late payments continue to challenge businesses across Wales, businessowners are placing greater emphasis on cashflow, working capital, and debtor management. Without the necessary expertise, however, it can feel almost impossible to navigate such an uncertain landscape. Enter Atradius Collections, a Cardiff-based global debt collection and receivables management partner renowned for helping businesses accelerate cashflow and recover debt worldwide. We spoke with Regional Manager Lucy Stagg for more information, as Atradius Collections is named in the Welsh Enterprise Awards 2026. B2B Debt Collection Excellence Award 2026

Welsh Enterprise Awards 2026/ 10 Best MultiDisciplinary Wellness Clinic 2026 & Holistic Wellness Excellence Award 2026 A multidisciplinary health and wellbeing clinic in Neath, South Wales, Bronleigh House was established in 2018, the year after the family behind it purchased and extensively renovated the building. Over the last eight years, it has grown organically into one of the finest wellness clinics in South Wales, and a community of independent practitioners and businesses can today be found across its 16 treatment spaces and two studios. Partner Hannah Hopkins shared more on this health and wellbeing hub in South Wales, following its recognition in SME News’ Welsh Enterprise Awards 2026. For one person, health and wellbeing may be the professional treatment or rehabilitation they need to feel themselves again. For another, it could be finding a class they enjoy, trying something new in a safe space, or simply taking some time for themselves over a coffee. Whatever it is that they seek, Bronleigh House aims to serve them, providing health and wellbeing services in Neath that bring a local community together. Hosting a varied programme including yoga, Pilates, baby, and wellbeing classes, Bronleigh House allows the businesses and practitioners within its studios and spaces to retain their independence and specialisms, but affords them the opportunity to collectively create something much broader and inclusive under one roof. As Hannah explained: “Our aim has never really been to tell people what wellness should look like. We want to provide a welcoming environment with different options and allow people to find what works for them.” The services provided at this multidisciplinary health and wellbeing clinic in Neath may have expanded as it has grown, but its values have remained unchanged since it first opened its doors. The aim was always for Bronleigh House to be personal, welcoming, collaborative, and authentic. And this starts not by looking at what other clinics are doing, but by nurturing the strengths that come from this being a small, familyrun business. Bronleigh House today appears to be much bigger because of the sheer amount of health and wellbeing services it offers under one roof, as well as the number of businesses and activities running simultaneously, but the core team managing everything remain small. It is just Hannah, her family, and two receptionists. This keeps things familiar and personal for customers, and helps everything to run smoothly, even as the clinic grows. Hannah has also worked in the world of physical and health wellbeing now for around 17 years, and for the last eight years has been balancing her own practice as a sports therapist with the development of this location. She has discovered a lot about wellness during this tenure, and Bronleigh House reflects her ethos around it being something that is deeply personal and tailored to the individual. As people begin to look at their health more broadly, bringing areas like treatment, movement, recovery, social connection, and lifestyle together as part of their routines, the clinic aims to reflect that through its offerings. In providing such a busy and varied location to the community of Neath, Hannah and the team here have to make sure that the expectations are kept high across the building, and that includes the businesses and individuals that operate within its spaces. Hannah told us: “Every business here represents not only themselves but also, to some extent, the wider Bronleigh brand. We want independence and individuality, but with a shared commitment to professionalism, quality, and creating a positive experience for everyone.” This commitment extends across Bronleigh House, seen more recently through one of the year’s biggest developments: No.6 at Bronleigh House. Whilst there has always been a café in the clinic, the establishment of this location saw a separate family business take on the running of it. The result has been a closer, more collaborative relationship between the café and the rest of the building, something that also defines the wider clinic. Ultimately, Bronleigh House would not be the success story it is today without the synergy that exists between its core team and the independent practitioners and businesses that have chosen to make the building their home. So whilst this award has Bronleigh House’s name on it, this is an achievement that belongs to the entire building, and everyone in it. More on this award-winning health and wellbeing hub in South Wales can be found by visiting Bronleigh House at the web address below. Sleekabyte Technologies is a UK- and Nigerian-registered technology and innovation company applying software, data, research and product development capabilities to challenges across multiple sectors. Its work on Robovolts, a digitally managed mobile solar energy system, has earned the company recognition in the Welsh Enterprise Awards 2026. Founder and CEO Oladimeji Olawale tells us about the journey behind the innovation, the partnerships that have helped shape it, and what comes next. Clean Energy Innovation of the Year 2026: Robovolts “For us, innovation starts with understanding a real problem, bringing the right people and partners together, and developing something that can make a measurable difference” Established in 2020, Sleekabyte Technologies is a technology and innovation company working across a range of sectors, including clean energy. The company focuses on developing practical solutions to real-world challenges, creating value for businesses, public-sector organisations and communities through the application of technology, research and innovation. Its services span software development across web, mobile and cloud platforms; AI, data intelligence and digital transformation; research, development and impact evaluation; and project and product delivery consultancy. Through these services, Sleekabyte supports organisations from early-stage research and validation through to development, implementation and evaluation. A key strength of Sleekabyte Technologies is its ability to bring different disciplines together. Rather than treating a challenge solely as a software, energy or research problem, the team considers the wider system around it, including the users, commercial environment, infrastructure, data, operational constraints and the outcomes the solution needs to achieve. “This allows us to move from research and validation into product development and implementation without losing sight of the original problem,” Oladimeji told us. “Robovolts is a good example of that approach because it brings together energy hardware, software, data and a practical understanding of how businesses generate, consume, manage and pay for energy.” Robovolts is a mobile clean-energy system being developed through collaboration between Sleekabyte Technologies and Citibim Nigeria Limited to address the energy challenges faced by businesses and communities in Nigeria. Citibim designed and developed a first-ofits-kind mobile solar generator system, which provides the hardware foundation for Robovolts, while Sleekabyte has led the development of the digital layer, including the Robovolts Energy Management System. Together, these technologies integrate solar generation, battery storage and intelligent energy management to provide a cleaner, more flexible and manageable alternative to the petrol and diesel generators commonly used where grid electricity is unreliable or insufficient. Through its Energy Management System, Robovolts can provide owners and operators with greater visibility over energy generation, battery performance and system activity, creating the digital foundation for monitoring and managing distributed energy assets. Much of this progress has been made possible through grant funding from Innovate UK and support through the ZE-Gen Technology Accelerator, helping the project advance through successive stages of research, development and validation. Oladimeji expressed his appreciation for the role both organisations have played in supporting that journey. “We are incredibly grateful to ZE-Gen and Innovate UK for their contribution to this journey,” he said. “Their backing has enabled us to move from early-stage research and feasibility into technology development, testing and the continued evolution of the Robovolts Energy Management System.” That journey has also made the recognition of Robovolts as Clean Energy Innovation of the Year 2026 particularly significant. “It is an important milestone for us,” Oladimeji added. “It reflects how far the technology has come and strengthens our ambition to move Robovolts from continued development towards wider deployment and adoption.” The experience has further reinforced Sleekabyte’s belief in the importance of collaboration in bringing innovation to market. The company sees partnerships with technology businesses, research institutions, universities, government organisations, investors and industry partners as an important part of addressing complex challenges such as energy access and digital transformation. As Robovolts progresses towards wider deployment, that collaborative approach is continuing into Phase 3. While the earlier phases focused on feasibility and the development of the integrated energy system, the next stage expands the ambition beyond individual Robovolts units. The team is developing capabilities for operators to manage multiple energy assets through a common platform, alongside digital twin technology and the foundations for coordinating distributed energy systems at scale. Alongside Robovolts, Sleekabyte Technologies is continuing the development of two other major products. QReceipts is a digital receipt platform designed to replace fragmented paper-based processes by making receipts easier to issue, store, retrieve and analyse, while creating opportunities for businesses and consumers to gain better insight into transactions and spending patterns. Squadneti focuses on grassroots football, connecting players, parents, coaches, teams, referees and facility providers within a shared digital environment that simplifies fixtures, communication, participation, pitch access and the discovery of football opportunities. “For the remainder of 2026 and beyond, the emphasis is on turning the work we have done into greater real-world impact,” Oladimeji shared. “That means continuing to test our products with the people who will actually use them, strengthening the partnerships around them and building sustainable routes to wider adoption.” “That next stage is underpinned by the same approach across all three of our major products. Robovolts, QReceipts and Squadneti serve very different markets, but each starts with a clearly defined problem. We then bring together the right technology, research and expertise to develop a practical solution that can create meaningful value.” Contact: Oladimeji Olawale Company: Sleekabyte Technologies Web Address: www.sleekabyte.com
